Volunteer

Welcome Home Centre is a volunteer-run organization. We cannot exist without you.  If you have organizational, fundraising, IT, social media or event planning experience, we want to hear from you!

“The orphanage is such an amazing place to grow in the Lord, and learn about how other people live. I’m very fortunate I got to go and have the experience I did, and I wouldn’t have to think twice about going again.”

Twice a year we organize volunteer trips to the Centre*. These trips serve many purposes such as providing needed supplies to the orphanage, skilled workers to help on maintenance and renovations at the centre, and care givers to visit and nurture the children and monitor their progress. Health care professionals may volunteer to assess child wellness, develop programs, or contribute to planning for the new centre.

*Currently, volunteer trips are on hold due to the security situation in Haiti, but they will be resumed as soon as the conflict is resolved.

We are currently seeking volunteers who can help us with:

• online marketing and social media
• website updates (WordPress)
• email newsletter (MailChimp)
• organize fundraising events in Canada or USA
